Chairman, Founder & Chief Architect
Neil Glachman is the Founder, Chairman and Chief Architect of Green Lumens, LLC and previously served as its Chief Executive Officer.
Mr. Glachman founded (1979) Renal Care Corporation, a consulting company for dialysis centers, responsible for all dialysis related technology including Reverse Osmosis Water Treatment Systems. Mr. Glachman designed and developed an Extra-laminar Doppler Blood Flow Meter and Ultrasonic Air Detector for use with dialysis machines. The Extra-laminar Doppler Blood Flow Meter was licensed to Dupont.
Mr. Glachman has over thirty years of Optical industry experience. Beginning (1980) with Johnson & Johnson’s Vistakon Inc., as a regional and key account manager. Four years later he worked with American Hydron Inc., a National Patent Development company, to concentrate on national chain accounts. 1986 marked the formation of his company Ocular Insight Inc., a group purchasing organization (GPO). He later (1989) purchased Combine Optical Associates, merged with Ocular Insight to form Combine Optical Management Corporation. After acquiring two additional GPOs over a six year span, the company was sold (2007). Mr. Glachman owned and operated a 235 store chain of retail optical stores. Mr. Glachman is the co-founder (1999) and a principal owner of Visus LLC, an importer and distributor of branded and proprietary (VISUS) contact lenses. Mr. Glachman was the co-founder (2009) of National Ophthalmics Corporation, a sales and service company of ophthalmic equipment, sold 2013.
Vice President Marketing & Business Development
Lonnie Chenkin is Vice President Global Marketing & Business Development at Green Lumens, and currently serves as an operating partner at CLC Enterprises. Lonnie was previously President of Next Life Inc., a company focused on helping Fortune 1000 companies become more effective, efficient, and sustainable in their organization & corporate responsibility practices.
Prior to Next Life, Lonnie served as EVP of Muze, an aggregator and licensor of digital entertainment information to clients such as Apple, Yahoo and E-Bay. Prior to joining Muze, Lonnie was EVP of Corporate Development at Alliance Entertainment Corporations, where he was responsible for strategic planning & business development. Lonnie also held executive positions at Premier Artist Services, the management company that represented artists such as Frank Sinatra, Liza Minnelli and Julio Iglesias and Paramount Pictures, where he was intimately involved in Paramount’s expansion into home video, pay television and first run syndication.
Lonnie started his career at the “Big 8” accounting firm of Cooper and Lybrand and holds a Bachelor’s degree in Finance from University of Buffalo.
Regional Vice President
Mr. Lande started his business career in public accounting in New York. His duties included auditing and tax preparation for several NYC hospitals and nonprofit organizations, as well as several garment center manufacturing and sales concerns.
Mr. Lande left Public Accounting in 1985 and focused on real estate construction, management and development. Mr. Lande has been involved in the renovation and construction of major commercial properties throughout the New York City and tri-state area. Some projects include the renovation of Carnegie Hall, Central Park Zoo, The Statue of Liberty, Guggenheim Museum and over 200 public buildings including schools, hospitals and recreational areas.
For the past 16 years, Mr. Lande has been involved in the sale, leasing and development of commercial properties in South Florida. Peter holds a degree in accounting from Lehigh University ‘78. Since 1998, He is a licensed real estate sales person in the state of Florida, and a member of the International Council of Shopping Centers.
Matthew graduated from the University of Maryland in 2009 with a Bachelors in Criminology & Criminal Justice. He earned a Juris Doctorate from Nova Southeastern University in 2012 and was admitted to the Florida Bar that same year. During his time at Nova Southeastern University, Matthew developed a specialty in the area of Intellectual Property Law, leading him to become Vice President of the school’s Intellectual Property Law Society. Matthew has successfully created and managed several start-up companies in his career and continues to stay on the forefront of today’s technology industry.
During law school Matthew spent six months working in one of Florida’s leading foreclosure defense firms. Upon graduation from law school, Matthew worked for a real estate law firm focusing on creditor’s rights and handling complex foreclosure prosecution. He has represented some of the nation’s largest mortgage lenders and mortgage servicing companies.
